About Jonathan “Crash” Brown

Founder. Systems thinker. Firefighter. Marine.

Jonathan’s path has been anything but linear, but one thing has stayed constant: a deep belief in the power of rhythm to rebuild the body, rewire the mind, and restore the human spirit.

Where Rhythm Began

Crash created The Rhythm Theory Project after years of witnessing and experiencing the physical, mental, and emotional demands of service work. From combat zones to emergency calls, he noticed something important: when rhythm breaks, everything else begins to unravel.

This work began with that realization. Regulation, repair, and resilience all start with rhythm.

Built on Lived Experience

As a former Marine and active-duty firefighter, Crash brings real-world insight into what it means to carry the weight of responsibility. He’s also a father, a lifelong learner, and someone who understands that healing isn’t just clinical. It’s personal.

He has worked in chaos. What he builds now is calm.

WHAT WE BELIEVE

Rhythm is the foundation of recovery.
When rhythm is restored, so is capacity — for breath, for rest, for connection, and for change.

This work isn’t about fixing people.
It’s about remembering what has always been there.

It’s about remembering what has always been there."
